Easy to access Cockpit

The specious cockpit and huge doors make entering the airplane effortless. Add the requirement of only the Sport Pilot License and you get a perfect aircraft for older pilots.

Unmatched Visibility

One of the benefits this aircraft offers is almost 300° visibility. If you enjoy cruising around and admiring the views more than crazy high speed maneuvering, this is a perfect aircraft for you.

Lands on Every Airport

Minimal takeoff and landing distance of 515 ft. gives you the ultimate freedom. Land on grass, sand or even snow.  You won't have to choose your destination based on runway length.

Economy  Cruise:
Washington (VKX) to Miami (KOPF)

When flying the FX1 it is more likely you will need to land and use a restroom before your fuel tanks run dry.

For example if you fly a 912iS at 97 ktas and 3.7 gph,  you will cover 794 nm, in 8 hours 10 minutes and burn 31 gallons of fuel.

80% Power Cruise:
San Francisco (HWD) to Las Vegas (VGT)

In reality a 350 nm flight is a far more common scenario. You still get pretty far before you get tired.

For example if you fly a 912iS at 108 ktas (80% power) and 7 gph,  you will cover 351 nm, in 3 hours 15 minutes and burn 23 gallons of fuel.

*The exact numbers vary by engine choice, read FX1 Aircraft Brochure for details

Perfect for 100$ Hamburgers

The fuel-effective Rotax engines in combination with state of the art aerodynamics make the fuel consumption similar to your car, instead of a typical aircraft. With the economic 912iS engine, you can expect to burn between 3.7-7.0  gallons per hour.

Safety is our number one priority

 BRS parachute

The ballistic recovery system really works. It already saved 425 lives and counting. That's the reason you can add it to your airplane, the same as other safety options.

Only the best materials

The aircraft has an internal metal structure made of chromoly steel and aluminium covered by carbon fibre chassis.  All of that handcrafted in-house in Italy.

Effortless Maintenance

The aircraft is easy to service. A technician (or you) can remove the chassis in less than an hour and check or replace any parts needed using only a wrench and screwdriver.
